Heya All,
My client wants to use a ActiveX/OCX control to populate PDF forms and then print them.
We have tested various product but all seem to run into a problem when printing the forms and all reply in a similar way.
Basically my client gets his PDF forms from the Internet, mostly downloading from government site (tax forms). More often than not these forms seem to be create using a 3rd party product as opposed to Adobe Acrobat. Now while they can be print from Adobe Acrobat okay, the vendors of the controls say that the "format/coding" of the PDF forms are non-standard and sometimes even contain errors/inconsistencies.
So I'm here to trying to ...
a) Find a control which would allow my client to load a PDF Form and then re-save it in a standard format so he can use it with these controls
b) Find a control which is guaranteed to print any PDF document.
For the later, my client develops an application which he distributes to others so would need the control to be royalty-free (i.e. a Per User license is not cost effective for him)
Thanks,
Steve
