Control Start and Stop from html or javascript

Hi all,

I have a flash movie that is used as the heather on every page of my website. I only want the movie to play on the main page, and just jump to the end of the movie (not play the whole thing) on the rest of the pages (the user doesn't need to see the movie every time he changes pages).

Is there a way to send a "jump to last frame" using javascript or on the embed object in html?

So a script (along with a stop action...) on the first frame of your header.swf, checks to see if a passed variable is true or not, and re-directs the movie to the appropriate frame, rather than playing from frame 2.
