I have a report that has total counts and Running Sums ...
In my Running Sum textbox I have the following as the contrl source for my Running/Grand Total .. which works fine ....

=Sum([Total Of CountOfQuestion Response Type ID])-Sum([Can't Answer or N/A])

When I try to use this same logic for the control source of the details total counts ... I get #Error ...

=[Total Of CountOfQuestion Response Type ID]-[Can't Answer or N/A]

I have tried every possible parenthesis senarios and I am still getting the error ....
Any Ideas?!?!?!

Thanks much ...

Hi

By chance, is the name of the control where it will not work [Total Of CountOfQuestion Response Type ID] or [Can't Answer or N/A]

if yes, then try changing it to some other value

Thanks ... :)

Ultimately what I realized is that I had used the Report Wizard and the textboxes were actually labels ....
So when I created textboxes it worked .....
Thanks!
