Control Red Lamp when there is a voicemail waiting 1

We've configured an Asterisk voicemal instead of using Audix since Audix cannot support different lenghts of digits togheter, so we decided to go with Asterisk voicemail, the integration is working fine but we cannot control to turn on or off the Red lamp of the phones.

Anybody can provide us some direction or faced the same situation?
We are open to provide instruccions on how to configure it

Most non-AUDIX/Intuity systems use the Leave Word Calling (LWC) codes to turn on and turn off the MWI. Do 'display features' and look for the Leave Word Calling-Activate and Leave Word Calling-Cancel codes. These need to be administered in the Asterisk.
