Not sure if this is the correct area to post, but I am trying to limit users ability to print in color. Is this possible to us AD to control that. Maybe a Group policy or something.

Could create a security group and add it to the printer, then add the users you want to print to it, to the group. Remove authenticated user and domain user groups from the printer.

I read this as he wants to be able to control the driver and allow some to print to the printer in color, and allow others to only print in b/w.

For some reason it will only allow me to check the print box under allow, but under manage, when I click deny, it removes the check box next to print. So that is not working.

Well in theory I should be able to to do what Roadki11 says. I should be able to set the default properties for the printer on the server, and then block everyone else from changing those settings by restricting manage printers. But for some reason you can't have deny on manage and allow on print.
