hi,
document.myClip_name.play(),document.myClip_name.stop(),
can be used to control midi songs using javascript code.
However the same code doesn't work in Microsoft IE 6.0
and Netscape 6x.
please suggest to control midi songs using javascript code
in IE 6.0 and Netscape 6x.

I don't have a solution for you as I stay away from Midi as much as possible.

But I do have a warming if you plan to use midi on a website. Do not put music on a site unless a person specifically asks for it by clicking on a "play this song" link.

There is one thing that irritates people more then having a popup appear in their face and that is to have their favorite song they are playing in Winamp be suddenly taken by assault by an instrumental version of a song without even any lyrics. Even if it was a song they liked its annoying enough that it makes me hit the X in the top right or the back button immediatly.

Hope this helps. Gary Haran

Thanks to my Opera, I can disable embedded audio with 2 clicks.
But anyway, the next step is - always! - hitting the X in the top right.

good luck

I'm sure that you won't be disappointed.
If you'll need some guidance - you're welcome.
