control M 1

Hi,
Can someone give me information about control M on solaris (what exactly it is? how it works? etc..). Also how is it different from cron job?

It uses a central server to do the scheduling and just runs an agent on the client systems. You can do much more complex scheduling than in cron, and define job dependency rules, etc.
