Can I control an impact printer by vb.net?

where can I find information about this?

I beleive the key ingrediant is the drivers you use. You'll need the drivers and documentation from the vendor if you want to do anything custom. Otherwhy, you can send documents to it provided what ever driver you are using can resolve the post script or pcl to what ever format the printer understands.
