working with Acesss 2000 I have a form with two control list based on a queries. the first control box is a simple query, the second is a cross tab query, when I double click on ctlListOne I want the second query to come up with related data this is what I did
I placed the following in the second ctlList control source =[ctlListOne].Column(0)
result are when I click on a line item in ctlListOne the second cntListTwo give brings up the data but not the right data
example if I select number 2 in ctlListOne
the other box shows me item 4 if I
click on item 13 the second box shows me item 15
what did I do wrong?? hope someone can help
Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of a "control list" object but, from your description, I think you're talking about a combo box. If that's the case......

The row source of your 2nd combo box (or list box) needs to reflect the selection from the 1st box.

Example...
cboState: SELECT StateID, StateName FROM tblStates
cboCity: SELECT CityID, CityName FROM tblCities WHERE StateID = [cboState]
