We have a contivity 1750 VPN router and we have not purchased the stateful firewall license yet. We want to block all the http requests going from the internal network to the outside WAN. Where and how in the router do we configure that?

You need to set up an interface filter and apply it to the relevant interfaces.

I have a contivity 1750 router and I am trying to use the interface filters on it to block all http access from the inside LAN to outside WAN.

Under current contivity interface filters, there is a "Permit HTTP" filter. When I edit it, it shows me the following rules which are currently in use:-

Permit http reply in
Permit http reply out
Permit http request in
Permit http request out

Which one of the above 4 rules do I have to edit in order to block http requests from the inside LAN to outside WAN.

( I am connected to the router using HTTP, therefore I don't want to edit the wrong rule which might block my access to the router)

Please advise
