Contivity VPN L2TP

Hi
I configured a L2TP user on contivity(1740),when I try to access the network using windows xp vpn setup the error 789
"The l2tp connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error during initial negotiations with the remote computer", and nothing appears in the log of contivity, but when adding a PPTP user everything goes fine
Any idea?
