contivity 1750 problem

hi guys,

I have asked this question before but couldnt get an answer and I thought maybe this time somebody can help me. I have a contivity 1750 here and I have been trying to make it work for a while now..I have another contivity which is 1100 and it works properly but we need the swap the boxes and but this 1750 instead of the 1100 box...I have been testing this 1750 box and i havent been able to ping my public default gateway from the provate side so far...I copies the config. from 1100 but it didnt work...I am not trying anything complicated...I have my default gateways, interface filters ( with permit all) and IP addresses configured in the box..Actually I wonder if anyone has found a bug or anything tricky with the 1750 config. so far...(This is just a test network... it is like:

cotivity 1750 --- L3 switch simulating the WAN (5520)--- contivity 1100

I can ping the contivity public int. from switch 5520 CLI but i couldnt ping the switch VLAN IP from the contivity 1750..
(I know this question seems very general but any kinda help would help me.)
any idea?

guys please ignore this thread but I still have one more question mark....I am able to ping the public gateway from inside (from a laptop etc.)
Moreover, I am able to ping the public gateway from the contivity box now (if I set the source interface of the ping as the public interface) but I can't ping the public interface from the contivity box if I set the source IP as the private IP address of the contivity box...
(for contivty 1750)
any idea?
