Ok here is my problem. I have a BCM400 in Houston and a BCM 200 in Florida. I have a Contivity 1010 at each loaction with a Branch Office tunnel nailed up between the two sites to make them all one domain. Utilizing the 400 in Houston as a call center we register all IP phones as S1 to Houston. We have several remote agents that Contivity Client into the Florida office and then register to the private LAN 1 on the Houston BCM.
This always works perfect.
Now that Florida has had the storm the Florida location is without power. We are having the remote agents now client into the Houston Contivity 1010 and register to the private LAN 1 on the Houston BCM. They register and get a DN just fie but there is NO VOICE and sometimes 1 way voice. Since we are taking a huge portion of the puzzle out of the picture you would think that it would work just fine as Houston has a PRI and a T1 for internet and alswo it works when you go through Florida. I built a user in the base group on the Contivity and it still did not work. I cannot check the Florida Contivity to see what may be different as they are down. ITAS has not been any help and I have a customer that is loosing money everyday. Let me add this. I also have a contivity 100 at each location. This is used for a branch office tunnel to a software host that the company uses. In the Contivity 1010's we have a one armed route that points the "software host" traffic out the 100 and everything else out the 1010. I do have to have the NAT rules in place for this to happen. I have 4 rules in place. This is the same in Florida and in Houston. Why would it work into the 1010 in Florida and accross the tunnel to the BCM in Houston but not to the 1010 in Houston then to the BCM in Houston? Here is what is happening this morning. I have a Client into the Houston 1010 (from my house)I have an i2050 regestered to the Houston BCM LAN 1 private ip. It has worked fine for about 35 minutes. Just stepped away from my laptop for about 5 minutes and now the softphone is still up but I cannot hear anything on it. It will place and receive calls, I can talk from the i2050 and the other party can hear me but I cannot hear anything on the i2050.
