After joining pc's to our SBS domain using \\servername\connectcomputer i get the following error after login.
"The system cannot copy a file from the server to this computer.Make sure that the network cables and devices are plugged in and functioning properly, and then try again to join this computer to the network"
I have tried this but still get the error message.

Do you get it every time you join PC's to the domain?

What does an ipconfig /all on the server show? Ditto client?

Yes. Only if i logon as Domain Administrator i dont get this message. Networking config is fine. PC can browse the network and works fine but as soon as logon as the user i get this error. I have change user rights to administrator on pc but still get the message.

Some more feedback:

I'm setting up new pc for existing user.If i create new users i get no errors. Only if i use any existing domain users except those in the Domain Admin group i get this error. Add user to local Admin on pc but still get the error.
Ignore the error message and everything works fine.

Check this link for same problem:

Can someone please help me with this issue.

I have done extensive troubleshooting on this issue and cant resolve it.
Domain Admins dont get the message.

Feedback:

I had a loginscript (bat file) linked to the GPO in the OU which caused the problem. I removed it from GPO and dont get the error any more.
I used it to synchronise time with server and to map network drives.
