Continuous form footer total

I have a continuous form with multiple details and a Sum, Min, and Max field in the form footer. In order to get the detail of the form to display, I have to set the form footer visible to no. If I set the form footer to yes, the detail doesn't display but the form footer fields do. The form's been working for years up to A2003 but am converting the .ADP to A2007. How do you display the details and the form footer totals together?? I've done some research and haven't come up with any good reasons or solutions.
