I have a fellowes 325 ups backup battery and surge protector. I just got it today and i connected the COM wire to the computer and it says the battery is normal and the ac is normal. But whenever i start up an application that seems to use electricity, since when i start it the fans start up, the machine beeps non stop. It will not stop for anything, and when i load my game, City of Heroes, its just continuous, it went on fo about 5 minutes before i decided to quit the game because of the annoying noise. Can anyone help me?

Is the unit PROPERLY sized for the load ?
