My boss would like to see just the totals for each department/Production area on 1 form. The database is very large & I have 6 subreports that give him the totals (all different headings etc.)

It looks great - but when one department's production is longer, I would like the next subreport to be placed after it not printing on top.

How do I have continuous sub reports that do not overlap or leave info off (I have properties set to can grow: yes, can shrink: yes)

I am guessing what your problem is but I think I have it...

The key you are probably missing is that not all headers and footers on a subreport make it into the main report. I think Page and report headers are left off.

Because of this you will want to group on things in such a way that is equivalent and / or use the repeat section on each page appropriately. You can add a literal 1 to your base query and grouping on it to simulate a report header / footer.

Also don't forget you can group on the same thing twice... Maybe you group on the literal to simulate report and page headers... The page header like seciction you set to repeat section.

Thank you for your help! Looks good now, wz
