continous forms shading every other record

is it possible on a continous form to shade every other record a grey shading. how do you do this and how to you assign something like this?

Please use the search feature of these fora. This (and many issues of this modest level of complexity) have been addressed numerous times in the past and a variety of soloutions have been proposed, discussed and reasonably well documented. If you do not restrict the search, you should get entries from a variety of venues. While the actual code may vary between the various implementations, the concept(s) should be quite common. Adapt as necessary to the language specific syntax.

Did you check out Conditional Formatting under the Format Menu? It is intended to work at the row level and there may be a built in condition to identify the row count - don't know.
