Contents of my computer folder dissappear in windows 2000

Hi,

In WINDOWS 2000 SERVER,
Whn logged in witrh my user name we are unable to view the folder
contents.
But if we navigate thru DOS prompt, contents is listed there..

Any thoughts or update?

Note: I found a similar qs here @ but no solution seen...
