(Elementary user)
I have Windows 7, Windows XP Home and WIndows 2003 computers.
After mounting the SAMBA share, if I navigate to folders containing 'öäüÖÄÜ' in the folder name, the contents are not displayed.
I do not think that it is permissions related.
If for example, I make a folder called 'TEST' from any client, the contents can be seen, written and copied to, however, 'TEST_ÖÄÜ' won't let me copy to or read to, whether created on the local machine or server.
Looking at the global settings, the unix charcter set is 'UTF8'.
Does anyone know where I'm going wrong?
Best regards
