Hi All!
during the upgrade of our productive Open Text installation from release 9.7 to 10.1 SP2 Update 13, the automatic procedure of database upgrade of Content Server hangs at the step "Applying the database
schema" for version 6.0.13.
The previous step of database upgrade process, from 6.0.10 to 6.0.12 release, has been executed correctly according to the produced logs.
At the moment, all the Content Server processes are still running and the Administration page is continously refreshing and showing the same log messages.
Monitoring Oracle processes, nothing is running on the DB and the upgrade process is actually blocked.
In the log files written by the process (DBWizard, DBUpgrade, Connect,...) there is no evidence of any error.
Please note that the procedure is the same followed on the development and quality enviroments where no errors have been encountered on the database upgrade step.
The problem seems to be the same described on the OpenText article 46279709
(applied to a different Content Server release.
Could you please give us any information about the cause of the issue and how to proceed with the upgrade process?
Please find below the technical details of the involved components:
Open Text Content Server (to be updated from release 9.7 to 10.1 SP2
Update 13);
Oracle DB 11.2.0.3;
No firewalls is present between the content server and the oracle
systems;
