Hi

Can i create a content page of the (Group and detail)
I have three group and and one detail section show as below:

group a
detail a (on page 1)
detail a (on page 1)
detail a (on page 2)
group b
detail a (on page 3)
detail a (on page 3)
group c
detail a (on page 4)
detail a (on page 4)

all of the data is call from Stored Procedure,
on the detail section have one subreport and two fields,
So can i create a content page just show the group name and two fields on one page(may be on Page header section?)

If it can, i hope it will look like below:

Content page

group a
detail a (on page 2)
detail a (on page 2)
detail a (on page 3)
group b
detail a (on page 4)
detail a (on page 4)
group c
detail a (on page 5)
detail a (on page 5)

Hope my explane is clearly..

It depends on how much you have in your detail section. You can right click on the group and choose to edit the sections. There is a place where you select page breaks. If you remove the page breaks, then everything will try to show on one page, but of course, if there is more than one page of data, it will spill over to the next page.

You would need to then add the pagebreak to the footer of the group. If you look in help for page breaks it can give you more info.

It has been a year since I have looked at it, so I don't recall the details.

One of my clients did this using a hint that was on the BO web site. You need to accumulate the group field and page numbers in string variables, and then print them all out on the final page.

So it's more of an index, than a table of contents. But you could always print it out and then shuffle that final page up the front. We will be covering this in the next Crystal Clear.
