Oh man, oh man.

Is there a way to edit web parts such as Content Editor web part, without access to the actual page where the web part resides?

Here's the deal.
I was experimenting with web parts on a live page. (me = dumb).

I wanted to display an internet web page in the web part. Instead of using a "Page Viewer" web part, I pasted the link into the "Content Link" field of a "Content Editor" web part, (this is the field that explicitly says: "To link to a text file, type a URL.") (me = really dumb) As soon as I applied the changes with an internet URL in this field the whole page went to error 404 status. :-(

On the bright side, after some finagling, I was able to access site settings and all of my lists. Still, I can't view the page, and thus I can't access the Edit Page option. I don't know any other way to access the edit features for web parts.

What's interesting is that if I try to navigate to this page, it will show the page for a split second before reverting to file not found.

any ideas?

thx,
Rob
