Hi Folks,
Scenario...NT4 server (SP6) Win2K pro (SP2)Clients IE5.5 (sp2) browser.
Problem... I run a boltdown policy on our domain for shop floor clients (ntconfig.pol etc etc..) This works fine. However, I want to allow them access to a particular internet site and this site only. I have set the site to be the home page for the clients and applied the noaccess.rat system suggested on the MS site.
If I add the allowed site to a user who is not subject to the policy all works fine. Each time the user logs on he gets his page. If however a user who is subject to the policy logs on to the same machine, even after allowing the page to be viewed 'always', when he logs on next time IE has forgotten the allowed site! and so refuses access.
Any ideas anyone?
