The contaner of the NDS tree, displays a Question Mark as apposed to the correct symbol.

As a result of this we can not add users etc.

On occasions you get it back, NFI why. I have run DSREPAIR on all Netware servers, still no luck.

Has anyone stumbled accross this problem before???

Thanks,

You will receive a question mark instead of the correct symbol when you did not install the snap-ins needed for it.

Go to the Novell Website, download and apply the missing snap-ins. :)

Hi,

I have seen this before. This is what's happening: Since you have multiple servers you also have multiple replicas. This is an indication that one of your replicas does not have the incomplete information for the object. Whether you see the object properly or not depends on which replica NetWare Administrator is connected too. There is a solution. You need to browse the replicas to see which one has the bad object using DSBROWSE or DSVIEW.

See TID 10067667 on instructions.
