is it possible to have ContactStore, One-x and Voicemail pro all running on one linux server? or do you have to have a virtual machine running.

(If so, How?)

Bob, as an ACSS you should know that there is no Linux version for CS on the IPO.
So you should build two virtual machines, one for 1XP/VMPro and one for CS.

i thought that was the case, just unsure if anything had been released since i last done it.

I think there will never be a Linux version for CS on the IPO.
You better look for Xima as they are busy with that and Xima is way more flexible and is in basics a reporting tool with add on for VRL.

Dave, are you sure?
I did not see this coming by in the docs.

as of FP1 Contact store on MS Windows can collaborate with a VM Pro on linux, that is something different as Contact Store on linux.
Xima recording services vs a Linux VM has some problems with the call details, I don't know exactly which problems but I will find out tomorrow, then I will dig deep in the new Xima reporting and recording services.

Let me know which problems as we are running the server edition :)

Avaya says no... but it is supported on XP, Vista32&64, 2003Server and 2008/2008SR2 32&64 bit so why not?

Were running 3.4(2) and i cannot find a problem in respect to recording, maybe the note I got was from a older version, we fieldtrialled 3.4.

Chronicall Recording Library

Chronicall version 3.4(3) now has a Linux recording library updater, which can push recordings to an SMB/CIFS (windows file sharing) location. It can even function on the UC110, don't tell Avaya.

Recordings created by IPO are orphaned. Chronicall attempts to find foster Talking events to adopt the recordings. IPO does not always send the same information with the orphaned Recording as the matching foster Talking event.
If no match is found then the Recording remains in Cradle to Grave as "Call Recorded Inbound" or "Call Recorded Outbound".

I still never tried the SMB/CIFS option :)
Maybe soon i will have a Linux VMPRo and Xima with call recording.
The only part which i am not sure of is if they are going to do call recording.
