Hello team.
On upgraded IPO ( from 9.0.12 to 11.0.4.3) customer complains that the directory search is not as it used to be. Pressing the key with the letter they need to search based on last name does not bring the correct contacts.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Nikos

It is bringing up the correct contacts. Just its also including matches against first, middle and last names.

Useful when you work in a company that has a "Paul Henry" and a "Henry Paul" or you you can't remember the exactly spelling on Rob's really weird Russian via Scotland surname but you know for certain he is Rob. Also helps when you work in a country where "Smiths" are a dime a dozen. They just need to keep dial one or two more letters of the name they want and the number of matches will get more precise.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

TUI:NAME_SEARCH_MODE=X
Where X=
1 – matches to First name <--- Default for 9.1 and lower
2 – matches to Last name
3 – matches to either First OR Last name <--- Default for 10.0 and above
4 – matches to Middle name, but NOT to first or last (for “Fred J Flintstone”, pressing 3 for F brings up No Match, but pressing 5 for J matches the middle name/initial)
5 – matches to First name OR Middle name, but NOT last name
6 – matches to Last name OR Middle name, but NOT first name
7 - Matches First Name OR Middle Name OR Last Name
