Contacts not showing in Address Book

This is a problem with one of our user's Outlook 2003. When the user creates an email and selects Contacts it appears empty. I have done the usual fixes of 'show this folder as an email address book' & re-added the Contacts as an Outlook Address Book but it still appears empty. New mailbox profile didn't work.

I was hoping someone might have seen this before and suggest another fix?

This is a server side issue then.

Try outlook /cleanprofile. If not, try outlook /resetfolders.

In the Address Book view, you might be able to remove the Contacts folder that is spurious and then add in the real one using show this folder...
