Exchange 2000 SP3 on a Win2k Server (SP4).
During a folder migration, contacts from the PAB were moved (didn't leave a copy behind) into a folder that was set up to contain mail messages. These contacts were (apparently) stripped of their information and changed into public folder posts that look like blank emails from the user who submitted the contact, with the contact's name as the subject.
When I try to copy the now mail item back into the contacts folder, it only shows the information of the submitter, not the contact's information.
Aside from a restore from backup, is there any way to recover the data that was in those contacts?
