I recently went from exchange to a hosted pop3 service, and in the proces exported all data into a PST, created the new profile for the pop3, and re imported.

all the contacts are in tact, but when the user presses TO in the new email window, there are 0 contacts listed.

However, all of the contacts are on the folder list on the left hand side - you know, MAIL, CALENDAR, CONTACTS, TASKS? they are under contcts.

when they press To in a new email - they dont get an error, just no contacts, the window pops up with 0 contacts.

any ideas?

Assuming Outlook 2003:

Right click on the Contacts folder and select "Properties". On the Outlook Address Book tab check the box next to "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book. OK your way out.

Hope this helps.
