I recently changed machines and upgraded from Win95/Outlook98 to WinXP/Outlook2000. I moved the .pst file from old machine to new, and imported into Outlook2000. All of the Contacts showed up, but the old Journal activites for each of them don't show up when I hit the 'Activities' tab for that Contact - only the new ones which have been created on the new machine under OL2000. The old activities/journal entries exist on my machine, but in order to access them I need to go outside of the Contact to Journal, then search on that Contact's name. Very cumbersome and defeats the purpose of having the Activities tab on the Contact.
Did I miss a setting or something when I imported?
By the way, where is the proper folder/location for .pst, .pab and .ost files to reside in XP/Office2000?
