Contact store Playing on windows 7

HELP,

I have a customer that has just gone to windows 7 on one machine. They are having problems playing the recordings Via internet explore 8. if they save it to the machine they play ok. (sound isn't the issue)

Any input would be helpful

you need to install the active x control.

I suspect IE is to strict with its security policies to allow you to install it from the contact store browser session.

are you using IE9? then make sure you disable all security you can find and enable all popups and everything that they say is not secure. IE 9 is so boggled down that you can't even properly surf the net any more without digging in the security settings.

like HSM mentioned activeX and make sure it is allowed and maybe make the address a trusted source in IE security

Its in the trusted site Active x works and is enabled.
Firefox doesn't work either!!!!

my Windows 7 machine with IE9 works great... it also works on firefox 3.6
 
firefox WILL NOT run an active x control unless you use an add-on like IE Tabs.

create a new user account on the pc and then let it reload the active x control

or delete the existing control from the current user in IE.

It does work.
