Hey guys. Thanks for help in advance.
Feeling like an idiot. New to InDesign, I just got an intern gig. The first file that I sent they rejected because they said that the text was cut off in places, there was little space between lines, etc. Basically I lost the gig from day 1.

The file looks *fine* on my computer. I packaged it when I sent it out.
I even exported as a pdf to make sure that it looked correct and it looks perfect. What did I do wrong or what did they do wrong?

One thing that I should note (and this is probably where I'm stupid), I could not download a font from their ftp site so half of the layout was done in a font that didn't exist on my computer. (They knew this) This probably did it yes? If so, why did it still look okay on my computer and on my pdf's???

Help me! Thanks,
Miki

My first guess is that they have a different version of Acrobat or Adobe Reader (or they have the view settings off).

What profile did you use for PDF creation? Check the properties in Acrobat: are all fonts embedded?
