I have a client who runs OS 8.6 on an iMac. She currently uses Eudora Pro 4.2 for her email. ACT 2.8 (which has not of course been updated for ages) for her contacts. She has a Handspring on Palm OS v. 3.5H and Palm Desktop 2.6.
And she wants a more efficient way to manage her contacts and sync with her palmtop.
I originally thought Entourage would do the job but then I discovered from the newsgroup that there were awful problems with syncing.
Then I thought Palm Desktop would be perfect with an Applescript to make it talk to Eudora for email. BUT, then it turned out that one of the most important aspects to my client was the ability to email groups and Palm Desktop does not have that ability as far as I can tell.
Does anybody have any suggestions for how to sort out this muddle?
Many thanks.
