Hi,

I have to Update the contact list weekly (by Monday) I catergorized it as myDepartment in the contact folder. Every Monday, I receive an excel file with an update phone, pager,... (information for a contact) from my coworker . Then I have to go to my contact Folder, get to myDepartment category and look for single person that has the info changed and type in. I'd like to get rid of this method and replace a new method so that my cowoker just send me something (this is what I am looking for) and I just update my contact folder by drag and drop it to me contact folder, myDepartment will be updated with a new info.

Does anyone have any idea? Any brainstorm will be appreciated.

Try to update the folder by importing the excel file via Outlook, as the owner of the folder, each week. Any changes will overwrite the old addresses.

hope this helps... [sig][/sig]

That's a great idea, importing from an excel file. Is there a way to do this to the Global Address book, as opposed to the Contacts folder?

Yes you need to create a csv file to do updates. I have the file if you need me to e-mail it to you with instructions on how to use it.
