Contact list - share btwn VP & EA

Greetings all -
Is there a way in Exch 5.5 SP3 (Outlook 2K) to have an executive vice pres. allow ALL his contacts to be shared and synchronized with his 2 executive assistants?
Some of the assistants' contacts will need to be "private" and NOT shared and sync'ed to his.
But any updates/additions to HIS need to go to both EA's also.
I can't do a public folder because the VP will want his contact list to be able to go to his wireless PDA which only connects to his inbox, not public folders.
There's about 1100 contacts - so manual upkeep on 3 contact lists is getting out of hand.

Any help is much appreciated.

share his mailbox to the others, then share his contacts to the others. In their Outlook add in the VP as an additional mailbox. Right click this and choose to use it as an address book. Then they get their own private and he gets to use his PDA.

Your suggestion sounds like a potential solution, it sounds like it fits my ticket perfectly! Granting the permissions, I have done that before, however, I am not finding where to "right click this and choose to use it as an address book."
Can you please help me with a "how to" on this for Outlook 2000?
