A user has personal contact list. When he forwards or creates an email, he has to open the contact list to find who he wants to send too, it wont fill in automatically. Any way to correct this?
Has he typed in the address at least once before? If not then this is what has to happen at least once for it to populate the list.
If he has typed in the address before then make sure you have this file (C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\*.NK2) where * = profile name. He could be missing this file so it is not storing them for him. I would recommend getting this file from a computer that does have it and transfer it in if this is the case.
On a side note if you ever re create and have a chance to backup files before hand I recomend backing this one up since this information is only local and not on the exchange server.
hmmmm, Ive looked on several pcs and cannot find an *.nk2 on any of them, including mine. They have contact lists and it works for them. I have also searched on that file, no dice.

tools-email accounts-view or change existing dirs. or add. books. Then I add in my PAB...
