I included this question at the end of a previous thread of mine, and then realized it should be a separate thread. Sorry for the confusion.
I noticed that syncing works fine both from the server (desktop machine) to the remote (laptop) and vice versa, with one major exception. When syncing from the laptop to the desktop, if I update an address of an already-entered contact (the update can be on either machine), the address update is not made. Nor are other primary fields of the contact (phone, etc.). Notes, history and activities, all sync. I haven't tried the others yet.
Are there rules about what gets updated and what doesn't? I have chosen the default of "Sync all available contacts." And I don't see any other options to define what parts of the database sync and what don't
I'm the only user. Is there something I need to do to make sure every field that changes in Contacts gets updated?
Thanks for your continuing help!
Hank
