I feel really stupid on this one. I am trying to set up a contact center on a bcm400 4.0. I can not get any control dn to be accepted. I know it can not be a number associated with a port on the bcm. What am I doing wrong? Do I just make up a number?

The control DN needs to be a unused set DN. I recommend using a DN associated with a port on a trunk module bus. If you have a PRI on Bus 7, for example, go into Inactive DNs and find a DN assigned to a port between 0701 and 0732 and use it.

Agreed. Use a DN that would normally be assigned where a trunk module is installed

I have always been successful using an unused IP set DN..
