Hi Gents,

It's been a few years since I last installed and configured Contact Center for MiVB.

There was a document on MOL with the prerequisites for the Windows Set up and the golden rules for the miVB COS etc.

Can you let me know the name of the up to date documents? The one for setting up the prerequisites for Windows. Then the Golden Rules, etc.

The Golden Rules haven't been updated for a while, although I don't think a lot has changed.

its a fair bit easier now for fresh install( no manual addition of iss , its all done by installer)

if its vmware ensure secureboot is disabled
disable dep bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff
reboot and check wmic OS Get DataExecutionPrevention_SupportPolicy ( should be 0)
disable ipv6
set static ip and hostname

install .net 3.5
install sql express (no replication)
install ssms if required
apply updates
reboot
install MICC software
wait for redistributer to complete
reboot
install hotfixes
wait for redistributer to complete
reboot

I have installed the Software but after that I am unable to login.

I selected unsing the Windows Credential Administrator but I am unable, any hint?

Thank's a lot. I will then continue with Licensing.

In the past I used to enter Site Key but I have noticed this has changed.

Is the ARID now required as with MiVB?

no you have to get the desaware key from the amc entry - like a windows key
if you ever have to reinstall the software on another PC 9 side by side migration ) you can use it again
then it needs to be regenerated in amc before it can be used again
