Consuming web service issue

Hi

I've used VS2003 to create an application that consumes a web service which works fine on my test web server.

When I build that app and deloy on our production web server, I get the error:
"The underlying connection was closed: Unable to connect to the remote server"

There doesn't seem to be any problem with the remote server just the connection doesn't seem to work. I haven't consumed a web service before so it may be something which I'm missing.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
