I don't think this is possible, but still an interesting thought.

My project has significant boards that will be making Go/No-Go decisions before Go Live. The first meets on a Tuesday. Is there any way to constrain it so that it retains the dynamic relationship i.e if it gets pushed to the right past Tuesday, the start date moves to the subsequent Tuesday?

Thanks
Simon

Hi Simon,

Through a bit of an odd work around -- yes. Create a 'scheduler' task of one minute in duration as the predecessor to the board meeting and successor to the gate work. Then create a new calendar that has with working time on Tuesday -- I'd go with 7:59am to move the task to before the working time Tuesday.

The 1 minute 'scheduler' task will force the board meetings to move from Tuesday(s) based upon the work heading up to the meeting.

I hope this helps.

Julie

Thanks Julie - what a clever idea. I'd not considered that approach at all. I have a minor problem that my PMO only likes us to use certain calendars, however I'll try this out.
