Constantly Changing Subforms

I've written a little proggie in Access 97 where I need to create a sub-form from a table called tblCourseUnitCrossTab. This would be quite easy, but the columns headers on the forms keep changing - only the 1st column (studentID) will remain constant.

I need to find a way of creating a sub-form where I can enter data. If I create a form from the table, the next time I select a different course or unit, the number of columns change and their names.

Has anyone got any ideas?

I though about showing the table in a datasheet format and use VBA code to change the width of the columns to fit the space available - if this seems a reasonable idea - could someone get me started :)

PLEASE!

Why can't you add more rows instead of columns.

So as each students data changes the number of records (rows) change. This then is a matter of having a Master/Child Link and no VBA code required.
