Two users are making my life very miserable since they are constantly asked for user name and password.

Every time, we enter their ID, password and we click on the check box so that it remembers it. We have to do this two or three times before it goes away, only to come back within minutes.

They both experience this, almost always, when reading or replying to messages from a common sender.

How can I have outlook/exchange to stop asking for user ID and password? Especially since it is already configured within the account settings ...

Thanks,

The problem is much greater than I thought. Upon viewing the event viewer I found that I am getting errors from exchange.

One such error reads:
-----------------------
Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. Check the event log for possible messages previously logged by the policy engine that describes the reason for this.
------------------------

What am I looking at?

Now, everyone is being asked ... So, never mind that it had happen when the first 2 users tried to read messages sent by a common sender ...

This is starting to look very grim for me ... Exchange server crashed early February this year and it is starting to show same symptoms as it did then.

Now I am getting more of this error:
------------------------------------------------
Windows cannot access the file gpt.ini for GPO CN={A1749E1D-72DE-42AD-8331-EC0BCA6F60C1},CN=Policies,CN=System,DC=mydomain,DC=com. The file must be present at the location <\\mydomain.com\SysVol\mydomain.com\Policies\{A1749E1D-72DE-42AD-8331-EC0BCA6F60C1}\gpt.ini>. (Configuration information could not be read from the domain controller, either because the machine is unavailable, or access has been denied. ). Group Policy processing aborted.
-------------------------------------------------

Help please !!!!
