Hi! Glad to be here, as this is my first post.
I've always had a particular problem with photo-paint 8, and I'm trying to find a solution. Whenever I have a subtle darkish blue that fades to black, it looks terrific in photo-paint, but when it's in photo shop or on the web, those subtle blues now go extremely unflattering. They turn much brighter....almost glowing. As an example, this is the piece I was hoping to be finished with today...
You can see at the bottom, the glowing blue tones, and even the colors at top aren't quite what they were. (It was saved on highest quality, btw). So, running out of ideas, I tried doing a full screen preview, and using corel capture to capture the image. I then opened the capture in photo shop, and the colors were right, but the color DEPTH was way down, and it looked horrible. Here's what it ended up looking like...
The colors at the bottom are what I want in this case, but the image looks terrible.
I don't know if I've given you enough information, so please let me know if you need more. Thanks in advance!
