Over the last several weeks our 3300 controller keeps saying the following:

ISDN VDsu-18 Mod 3 Port 2 - FRI JUN 29 07:36:40 2012 Unknown Component APDU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our tech vendor basically said to ignore it, wont do any harm. It's filling up the logs though.
Is there a simple command to disable or clear that from appearing?

Thanks

Was this an upgrade from a SX2000?

Yes, originally. Two years ago. Started doing this going on two months - and we haven't changed/added new hardware. Other than up to the newest software release.

With the SX2000, there was an Application Peripheral Data Unit that was used to control ACD messaging between the SX2000 and a program like Prairiefyre.

As part of the upgrade to the 3300 the associated programming for the APDU needs to be removed or it will cause alarms. The 3300 has direct control of the ACD messaging and the APDU programming will conflict.

Your vendor needs a slap on the wrist.

Just remembering the unit was an APSU not APDU but the likelyhood of a relationship is high due to the SX2000 upgrade. Higher yet if you have ACD reporting and remote control of agent / path status
