First some system specs...
I run a PIII 933 from Micron, 256 RAM, WIN 2000, 2 hard disks, one a 30 GIG(master) and the other a 13 GIG(slave).
I just recently switched from WIN ME to WIN 2000 during the process i switched out the hard drives, and in pulling out the IDE cable it looks like i bent one of the pins on the back of the hard disk. It looks like pin 2 but im not sure on that. But before i did this, even with the new WIN 2000 OS it worked normaly, and ever since i bent that pin the hard disk light is constantly on, from the time i boot up to the time i shutdown. I have read though many fourumns and it is not the cach or the system is busy doing somthing or anyhting like that. This is a fresh install and there is nothing that could be running. Both hard disks work normaly and read and write just fine, but the light is constantly on. Its not a big deal but i just dont like that light being on all the time becasue there may actually be a problem, so please any guesses would be accepted, thanks very much...
