Hi, I'm a gamer, and I cannot seem to keep a connection.

I have a us robotics 3com cable modem with a linksys di-524 wireless router, i have 2 computers.

they both get disconnected at the same time, the one i use uses an intel pro/100 ve network card

It seems to happen randomly, but at least once an hour. I do not know what the problem is, but if anyone has any tips, please help me. I have Zone Alarm and AVG, which i turn off when i play because they lag me.

may be the modem you have, without a model number I am guessing.

You want to find out if the router is dropping connection to the modem (can you ping the modem when you are down?) or is the modem dropping connection to the ISP (if so the transmit and receive power levels and signal to noise level will guide you to helping your ISP make it right)

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
