consolidate legato server?

I have got the task to consolidate two legato server.
Is it possible to dump each database and merge them somehow?

I'm sorry but I'm nearly sure it is not possible...
But you could do is to rescan every tape used by one server on the other server...

If you have 1000 tapes you'll have to rent a person for 60 years ...

I have heard that such is planned for a future release. Sdeb is right - if you want to do this today, scanning the media is the
only chance you have.

If it´s realy neccessery than you can do a scanner -m to scan only the savesetinformation. It works very much faster, but you can only do savesetrecover. Think it can be a workaround ;o)
