We have a operator that uses the console for calls that are bounced back, the AA takes care of the rest of the calls that come in. My question is why does the console ring one time before the AA picks up?

Because the LINES are set for IMMEDIATE RING.

Set them to DELAY RING, and your problem will go away.

Touch Menu, Ext Program, Press any Line Button and dial *346.

Would you have to do it to each line?

*346 does all lines, *36 does only the line you line pressed.
